A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out
At no cost to participants,

Our 14-week training course includes classes in:
- Bible Study
- Job Readiness
- Resumes and applications
- Interview skills
- Dressing for the job
- Coping at work
- Personal Discovery
- Computer Training

- Boundaries
Classes meet from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday. Lunch is provided daily.
Each participant is paired with a Journey Partner (mentor). Mentoring at CWJC is an unconditional relationship between the women in the program and women in the community. It provides a woman with the opportunity to build a healthy relationship that fosters spiritual and personal growth. Referred to as “Sisters of the Heart”, this name denotes the intent to develop not only a friendship, but a bond in which two women can support and uplift one another in prayer, accountability, fellowship and encouragement.
After completing an application and interview, you will be enrolled in a 14 week training course to gain the skills needed for success in life and employment. Women who join us will be 18 years of age or older and are required to be free of drugs and alcohol.
The next class will begin on August 30, 2010 and will graduate on December 10, 2010.
Applications are now being accepted for the new semester. Interviews will be scheduled in August and will be set in the order the applications have been received.
Call 757-0416 or come by the CWJC Center to pick up an application.
