Education Track

Women who come into the program who do not have a high school diploma or a GED will enter this track. They will receive Bible Study and GED preparation as well as help from a group of women, our Caring Connection, who will serve as mentors for them while in this track. Classes are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. When a woman has passed her GED, she can move into the Career Track.

Each Career Track participant is paired with a Journey Partner (mentor). Mentoring at CWJC is an unconditional relationship between the women in the program and women in the community. It provides a woman with the opportunity to build a healthy relationship that fosters spiritual and personal growth. Referred to as “Sisters of the Heart”, this name denotes the intent to develop not only a friendship, but a bond in which two women can support and uplift one another in prayer, accountability, fellowship and encouragement.

After completing an application and interview, you will be enrolled in either the Education Track or Career Track to gain the skills needed for success in life and employment. Women who join us will be 18 years of age or older and are required to be free of drugs and alcohol.

Applications are accepted throughout the year.
