Women who are excited, apprehensive, and committed will be in our center Monday morning, August 30, to begin their CWJC experience as Class # 16.
Each of these women is looking forward to the changes she’ll be able to make in her life through the knowledge she’ll receive and experiences she’ll have during the next 14 weeks of classes.

Graduation was an exciting event with 300 people attending to celebrate with our women. Each graduate was so proud of herself as she completed her short speech. Having our ceremony in the chapel at Truett Seminary makes our graduates feel very special.
We have an opportunity at the end of this month to provide a program at Calvary Baptist Church for the mothers of the children who will be attending their Bible Club. The program is called “Camp Hope.” The mothers will learn about God’s love through Bible study. They will also receive information to understand themselves and their children better as they learn new ways to have fun with their families. We will teach classes on personality traits, boundaries within a family, and understanding your child’s love language. This pilot program will be an avenue to hopefully help other churches work with the women in their communities.
We are pleased to introduce our new volunteer Journey Partner Coordinator, Vivan Stidvent. Her position as a licensed counselor at MHMR provided extensive experience in working with women. She said she discovered that she wasn’t happy sitting around after her retirement and is excited to have the opportunity to work with women again. She’ll be a real asset in training and working with our journey partners and working with our women.
