Irma Lopez, a CWJC graduate and MCC Presidential Scholar, has returned to school to study accounting and is the first in her family to attend college. Over 500 people attended Baskets of Hope 2008, 139 baskets were sold, and $46,000 was raised from sponsors, reservations, basket sales, and donations. Several women shared testimonies of what God is doing in their lives.
